COUNTING CROWS’ ADAM DURITZ |
Gracing the cover of the new-and-improved Fly Magazine is Adam Duritz in all of his bearded and dreadlocked glory. Counting Crows made up much of the soundtrack to my college years, and I’ve got more terrible karaoke performances of “A Long December” under my belt than I’m willing to admit. Needless to say, I was super-excited to interview the guy who wrote those songs. Well, maybe not so much “interview” as “play psychologist while Duritz dumped out 15 years’ worth of emotional baggage in the longest interview in the history of the world.” It was awesome.
