Yairms and AlhhlA play a free show at Zeroday Brewing Co.

Check out a double bill of experimental garage rock at Zeroday Brewing Co. in Harrisburg tonight from 9-11 p.m. The free show features Yairms – the psychedelic art-rock band from Durham, N.C. – sharing the stage with the Talking Heads-style industrial noise-rock of AlhhlA. The two bands continue their nationwide tour, which ends in Queens, N.Y. on November 15. Listen to the Yairms/AlhhlA split EP here.

Yairms released the EP Part One in October on bandcamp. The EP oscillates between atmospheric and experimental sounds to hard driving, pounding rhythms under dramatic, quavering vocals. The New Yorker called Yairms a band that “you’d be lucky to stumble on in a dive bar,” but tonight you get to see them at Zeroday and for free!

 Real Time – Yairms
