Release date: December 5
Director: Gregory Levasseur
Cast: Denis O’Hare, Ashley Hinshaw, James Buckley, Christa Nicola
Website: pyramidthemovie.com

The filmmaking team behind the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes presents this rare December horror film, in which a team of archaeologists discover a mysterious three-sided pyramid in the Egyptian desert. As a crew (O’Hare, Hinshaw, Buckley and Nicola) begins to investigate “the find of the century,” they soon wind up trapped in a labyrinth of dangerous tunnels and at the mercy of ancient forces lurking behind every corner. While most of the cast is relatively unknown, O’Hare and Hinshaw are known for portraying Russell Edgington and hottie Bridgette, respectively, on the HBO series True Blood.

David Onda is Fly Magazine's movie guy. He is an entertainment writer for a national outlet. He's attended and covered the Academy Awards on several (well, 3) occasions for a national outlet. He once made Quentin Tarantino laugh. He has shared an elevator with Bruce Willis, sat in John Waters' living room and has flown in the same airplane as Joan Rivers.
