Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Wednesday, July 1.
1) Trivia Night on the Patio at the Bull’s Head (Lititz)
Want to get away from the city this Hump Day? Head on down to the Bull’s Head Pub in Lititz and order a draft, then settle down for trivia night at 7:30p.m. You’ll be able to access and order from both the General Sutter Inn dining room menu and the pub menu. Enjoy the full booze list and four rounds of rousing trivia.
2) “Guess We’re Already There” Opening Reception (York)
The Independence Day fever is reaching its apex, but if you’re searching for a USA-themed event a litle off the beaten path, then hit up the Parliament in York tonight from 6-9p.m. This evening is the opening of their America-focused exhibit “Guess We’re Already There.” A diverse group of artists across the nation have brought their own unique cultural outlooks and lives to create pieces meant to inspire conversation about life, liberty, and issues in America today. There’s going to be live music from Kid Cousin and light refreshments. The Parliament’s tea bar will also be open for the occasion.
3) Fine Wine and Good Spirits Premium Collection Opening (Lititz)
In all this hubbub about liquor privatization, another liquor store is having its official ribbon-cutting at 4p.m. this afternoon. Fine Wine and Good Spirits is opening a “Premium Collection” location in the Shops at Kissel Village, and it looks positively spiffy. Check out the store’s video tour.
Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
