Wednesday 3 on 3: Jazz, Cornhole, & More Jazz

Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Wednesday, July 22.

1) The Jarekus Singleton Band at the Herr Street Stage (Harrisburg)

Blues musician Jarekus Singleton will be bringing his band to the Herr Street Stage tonight. This two-time Chicago Blues Festival alumnus is known for his honest lyrics and blistering guitar. The Nate Myers Trio will be opening for him. Doors open at 7p.m., and the show starts at 8p.m. Tickets are $12.

2) $200 Cornhole Tournament at Susquehanna Ale House 22 (Harrisburg)

Susquehanna Ale House 22 is blending the two great loves of mankind – competitive cornhole and money. At 8:30p.m., intrepid cornhole maestros will have the opportunity to game their hearts out in a tournament to the death to the last player standing. The grand prize is $200. If you lose – well, hell, you’re already there, grab a drink to drown your sorrows.

3) Lovely Ladies of Jazz: Jodi Stapler at The Greenfield Restaurant (Lancaster)

Feeling jazzy this hump day, but can’t quite get to Harrisburg? Well – can you make Lancaster? This evening from 6:30-9:30p.m., Jodi Stapler will be performing at the Greenfield Restaurant‘s lounge.
