Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Wednesday, June 17.
1) York Revolution Home Game vs. the Maryland Blue Crabs (York)
Get the sunscreen, slap on your hats and start planning your hot dog and beer pairings, folks: It’s a good day for baseball. Check out the York Revolution home game this evening; they’ll be teeing up against the Maryland crabs. It’s the York Rotary Club’s hundredth anniversary, and you’ll have the opportunity to bid on a special Rotary jersey during the game. How cool is that? Lawn tickets are $8, seats start at $12, and the game starts at 6:30 p.m.
2) Wet Nose Wednesday: Bring Your Dog to the Senators Game (Harrisburg)
You know what’s even better than baseball? Baseball and dogs. Bring your furry friends to the Harrisburg Senators home game and enjoy the coolest (and, quite possibly, the bark-iest) lunch break on the planet. The cheap seats start at $9, and the game starts at 12 p.m. Don’t tell your cat.
3)Wyndridge Farm Beef, Beer, Cider & Cigar Dinner (Dallastown)
In keeping with today’s theme – what’s better than a cigar dinner? Nothing… except for a beef, beer, cider, and cigar dinner. Hit up Wyndridge Farm at 6 p.m. and get ready for a killer tasting, an astronomical three-course meal, and a hand-rolled cigar. Not half bad for $75 plus processing fee, huh? Be sure to grab your tickets now – seats are limited, and you don’t want to miss out on this.
Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
