Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Wednesday, June 10.
1) The Felice Brothers with Andrew Combs (York)
The Felice Brothers have a habit of taking the everyday and making it extraordinary or downright eerie. Andrew Combs, who has toured with artists like Caitlin Rose and Houndmouth, has devastating lyrical ability and the voice to back it up. If you’re in the York area this evening and fiending for a concert, check these out two artists performing together at the Strand Capitol. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $21.
2) The Victory Brewing Company Brews Cruise at Pride of the Susquehanna (Harrisburg)
If you missed the SaraBozich.Com Booze Cruise – fear not! Tonight’s your chance try again – but hurry up, tickets are going fast. This Brews Cruise is sponsored by the Victory Brewing Company, and your $19.50 ticket buys you the cruise, some complementary snacks, and at least 4 beer samples. There’s going to be a cash bar and a la carte grill as well, so bring some dough. The cruise runs 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Word to the wise – arrive fifteen minutes or so early for boarding, more if you haven’t bought your ticket in advance.
3) Suburban Living with the Mercury Girls at the MakeSpace (Harrisburg)
Do you like your pop with a dark twist? Do you enjoy supporting local artists? How about access to two artists for a $5 donation? Yeah, we thought so. Hit up the MakeSpace at 1916 Third Street at 8 p.m. to see Wesley Bunch, alias Suburban Living, and new indie pop act the Mercury Girls perform live. Check them out below!
