Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Wednesday, August 26.
1) Hotel Books with Worthwhile and Divergent at the Champ (Lemoyne)
More spoken word comes to Central PA tonight in the form of popular faith-based spoken word project Hotel Books visiting the Champ. The San Francisco-based band Worthwhile will also be playing, and they’ll both be backed by Divergent. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are $12.
2) Aldus Brewing Company Tasting at Glenn Rock Mill Inn (Glen Rock)
A little beer tasting is just the thing you need to get over hump day, right? Well, you’re in luck. Tonight at 6:30 p.m., Glenn Rock Mill Inn is hosting a tasting for a new Hanover-based brewery: Aldus Brewing Co. Currently, Aldus has three beers on tap at their brewpub – American Blonde Ale, Olde Factory Amber IPA, and a Scottish wee-heavy called Wee Dame.
3) “To Kill a Mockingbird” at Aussie and the Fox (Lancaster)
Tonight at 8 p.m., if you happen to be in downtown Lancaster, you can have the classic dinner-and-a-movie experience all in one. Aussie and the Fox is showing “To Kill a Mockingbird,” the Gregory Peck-led adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic novel. Not a bad deal.
