Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Tuesday, July 28.
1) Trivia Tuesday at St. Boniface Brewing Co. (Ephrata)
If you’re not so hot about karaoke but have memorized the words to every Top 40 song in the last 40 years, this is the trivia night for you. From 6:30-9 p.m., St. Boniface is hosting trivia – “Name That Tune,” to be precise. Players will be given the first lines of a famous ditty and be expected to – well, name that tune. Brush up on your lyrics and get ready to rumble.
2) Lancaster Story Slam: “Boiling Point” at Tellus360 (Lancaster)
You may have already heard about this shindig, but in case you need a recap: This evening at 8 p.m., the bards of Lancaster County will be ramping up to regale the public with short stories about infuriating situations and sky-high temperatures. The theme tonight is “Boiling Point.” Tickets are $8 at the door.
3) Marshall Crenshaw at the Stage on Herr (Harrisburg)
Who hasn’t jammed to “Cynical Girl” – and who doesn’t want the chance to do it live? Astronomical performer Marshall Crenshaw will be rocking it with his trio at the HMAC’s Stage on Herr this evening. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show’s on at 8p.m., and tickets are $25.
Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
