Tuesday 3 on 3: Pint Night, New Brew, & Lobo Marino

Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Tuesday, July 14.

1) Deschutes Brewery Pint Night at Grain + Verse (Harrisburg)

If you can’t get enough craft in your life lately – hope you’re in Harrisburg. Enjoy some Deschutes brew this evening from 5-7p.m. up at Grain + Verse Bottlehouse‘s Pint Night. The featured brews are Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, and Chainbreaker White IPA. Building a collection of beer-related memorabilia? Great! Buy a pint of any of the featured Deschutes brews and take home the pint glass.

2) New Holland Brewing Co. Happy Hour at Al’s Pizza (Enola)

Enjoy something new at Al’s Pizza. Tonight at Al’s Pizza from 5-7p.m., find a reimagined version of New Holland’s Mad Hatter IPA and the classic Poet Oatmeal Stout on tap. Mad Hatter is floral and strongly hoppy, while the Poet is creamy, malty, and rich. Dragon’s Milk, a roasty bourbon barrel stout with vanilla tones, will be available in bottles.

3) Lobo Marino and Ghost Town Cinema at the MakeSpace (Harrisburg)

Be at the MakeSpace tonight to enjoy an evening of folk and indie rock to soothe your soul and get your feet moving. Lobo Marino, named after the Pacific Sea Lion, brings an eerie and graceful brand of folk, with a heavy amount of world music mixed in. Ghost Town Cinema‘s sound has been fine-tuned over the better part of the past three years, all leading up to their first release, which they’re currently working on. Catch these two in concert at 8p.m. this evening.
