Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Tuesday, August 4.
1) Rock and Roll Bingo at the Marion Court Room (Lancaster)
This week in “combination of words that you thought you’d never hear” and “combination of words that produce an unbelievably hilarious mental image” (come on, just imagine Nikki Sixx playing bingo)… The Marion Court Room is hosting rock and roll-themed bingo this evening. If you’re a whiskey drinker, so much the better – they’ve got specials on SoCo, Tuaca, and Jack Daniels family drinks tonight from 8-10 p.m. as well.
2) Beer Ace Tap Attack and Lititz Craft Beer Fest Ticket Giveaway at Nick’s Bistro (Marietta)
A tap takeover is always fun, right? Some Deschutes, some Starr Hill, an opportunity to win tickets to an event that is completely sold out? Yeah, that’s right – show up to the tap attack at Nick’s Bistro this evening from 6-8 p.m. and you have a shot at winning not one, but two tickets to the Lititz Craft Beer Fest on September 27. Seeing as those tickets sold completely out nearly a month ago on July 19, that’s a pretty solid opportunity.
3) Cattle Decapitation, Beyond Creation and more at the Chameleon Club (Lancaster)
With a name like that, you know that at the very least, you won’t be bored. This evening, the Chameleon Club is bringing you hard-hitting heavy metal from five different bands, aforementioned bands among them. Tickets are $15 plus fees. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music don’t stop til 10:30 p.m.
Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
