Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Tuesday, July 7.
1) Summer House Beer Dinner at Iron Hill Brewery (Lancaster)
Sure, a flight of beers is one way to try a brewery’s house brews in one fell swoop. But we recommend Iron Hill Brewery’s Summer House Beer Dinner as more delectable way to sample the goods. Tonight’s dinner starts at 6 p.m. and features five food courses (including a black sea bass ceviche and pepper crusted beef tenderloin medallions) paired with five beers (including the summer ale Mahalo, Apollo and wonderful standby Pig House Porter), all for just $60. Reservations are necessary, though, so call 291-9800 ASAP to claim your seat. In the meantime, you can check out the full menu here.
2) Yards Pint Night at Grain + Verse Bottlehouse (New Cumberland)
The Beer Ace consistently brings the best brewsy and boozy events to the Central PA area. This evening, head on over to Grain + Verse Bottlehouse to enjoy a tasting of the Philly-based Yard’s Brewing Co. Of course, bottles will also be available for purchase, and if you happen to take one or two home, there’ll be some pretty cool perks.
3) note. Summer 2015 Menu Release (Harrisburg)
Up for a food-and-booze combo? You’re in luck. Head over to note. in Harrisburg and enjoy their new Summer 2015 menu. There’ll be some small-plate specials, wine specials, and tons of new dishes to try. In addition, it’s BYOB night – so hey, why not grab a bottle and a few friends?
