Shift Meal (Lancaster)

A new quarterly pop-up dinner makes its debut tonight in Lancaster. According to its website, Shift Meal is “a group meal prepared by a restaurant’s chefs using unused ingredients that the restaurant serves to its entire staff outside of peak business hours.” Tonight’s meal takes place at the Fulton Street Arts Cooperative and will feature three courses and complimentary beer (for just $20) and is being created by Hunger N Thirst’s chef Wilson Lopez with help from the restaurant’s kitchen staff. Lancaster New Sounds at Tellus360 (Lancaster)

The first installment of Tellus360’s Lancaster New Sounds begins tonight at 7 p.m. The series is dedicated to providing an outlet for music fans to discover new, interesting music. The first concert of the series features Kludge – the duo of composer and performer, Sam Wells, on trumpet and Jonathan Carbin on cello. Kludge oscillates between dark and contemplative mood music to soaring other worldly experimental sounds. The concert offers a pay-what-you-can option or for $25 guests can take home a recording of the concert.
