Tickets on sale for the King Street Seisiun

Want to make sure that you cap off St. Patrick’s weekend the right way? Get tickets to the third annual King Street Seisiun. The all-day Irish-themed block party takes place in downtown Lancaster on the zero block of East King Street from Penn Square to North Duke Street March 20 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tickets went on sale yesterday morning and can be purchased here.

The King Street Seisiun – presented by Tellus360 and Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub along with the Lancaster Office of Promotion – has raised $13,000 for local non-profit groups. This year the event benefits The Junior League of Lancaster, Lancaster Office of Promotion, Music for Everyone, Lancaster City Alliance, A Week Away and United Way of Lancaster.

The premier Celtic street celebration features entertainment by Central PA’s own The Kilmaine Saints, New York-based Irish-American band McLean Avenue, Lancaster’s The Ogham Stones and DJ Edge. And what would a St. Patrick’s Day celebration be without refreshments (read: beer and Shepherd’s Pie)? Tokens can be purchased in exchange for beer and food. Two two beer trucks (aka the greatest vehicles ever invented) serve up Guinness Stout, Magners Irish Cider, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale and more. Irish dishes are available fresh from the kitchens of Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360. Both establishments maintain regular business hours during the event.
