Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Thursday, July 9.
1) Stoudts Brewing Co. Sampling at Highland Pizzeria (Lancaster)
You’ve made it. It’s finally Thirsty Thursday. To celebrate, why not stop by Highland Pizzeria and enjoy a nice tasting from Stoudts Brewing Co.? The brew flows from 6-8p.m., and there’ll be a little live music to enjoy your brew with. Nothing like good music and great brew before the weekend.
2) Untitled: A Storytelling Project at the Susquehanna Art Museum (Harrisburg)
You say you want a revolution? Untitled Harrisburg‘s got your back. Tonight from 8-10p.m., the storytelling group is presenting a variety of stories about various kinds of revolution – the event’s Facebook page promises riveting accounts of “all kinds of revolutions: political, sexual… bicycle?” A few lucky audience members just might get their chance to tell their own revolutionary tale – there will be an audience drawing at this free event for the opportunity to spin a yarn of your very own.
3) Flying Fish Firkin and Tap Takeover at Smoked Bar & Grill (Hummelstown)
This happy hour, Smoked Bar & Grill is offering the opportunity to do things (or drink things) a little differently. Starting at 5p.m., there’ll be a Flying Fish firkin and a tap takeover in the bar section, featuring brews like the popular Gone Fishing IPA, Abbey Dubbel, and their Farmhouse Summer Ale. Intrepid drinkers get to take home the pint glass. Hit ’em up!
