It’s been 22 years since Laura Dern horrified hygiene-conscious Jeff Goldbum by diving elbow-deep into a pile of triceratops poop, and fans still demand a better finale for the Jurassic Park series than they got with 2001’s awful third installment. In this film, the original vision for the park has finally been realized, and exists as somewhat of an extreme version of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. To create a new attraction, geneticists create a monstrous hybrid dinosaur called Indominus Rex, but the experiment soon gets out of hand when the lizard embarks on a deadly rampage. With guests and staff in danger, it’s up to the park’s velociraptor wrangler (Pratt) to take the beast down.

David Onda is Fly Magazine's movie guy. He is an entertainment writer for a national outlet. He's attended and covered the Academy Awards on several (well, 3) occasions for a national outlet. He once made Quentin Tarantino laugh. He has shared an elevator with Bruce Willis, sat in John Waters' living room and has flown in the same airplane as Joan Rivers.
