AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Director: Joss Whedon
Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson
Website: marvel.com/avengers

When last we left the Marvel Cinematic Universe, S.H.I.E.L.D was left in shambles while many of Earth’s mightiest heroes were off dealing with personal problems of their own. With no agency to house the team, Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) transforms his tower into an Avengers headquarters and begins tinkering with new technology to help protect Earth. Instead, he gives birth to a self-replicating robot monster named Ultron (voice of James Spader), who is hell-bent on destroying humanity. At long last, the Avengers reassemble – and are joined by newcomers Vision (Paul Bettany), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) – to save the world.

David Onda is Fly Magazine's movie guy. He is an entertainment writer for a national outlet. He's attended and covered the Academy Awards on several (well, 3) occasions for a national outlet. He once made Quentin Tarantino laugh. He has shared an elevator with Bruce Willis, sat in John Waters' living room and has flown in the same airplane as Joan Rivers.
