The MakeSpace hosts bevy of bands

In the mood for music? Whether you want to catch some local tunes this evening, November 10, or sink your teeth into something from far afield, stop by the MakeSpace in Harrisburg tonight to catch some great vibes.

There’s a four-band lineup, consisting of Divorce, Spill, See Through Dresses, and Baby Brains. The music they serve up is as follows:

  • Pittsburgh-based Divorce dishes out some alt rock indie/emo goodness; last year, they released their debut album, “Lifers,” which you can catch a taste of here
  • Spill, from Lancaster, whose recent self-titled EP (which you can check out here) recalls Weezer mixed with a heavy dose of indie
  • Visitors from Nebraska in the guise of See Through Dresses, who play a kind of midwestern grunge surf (no, that’s not an oxymoron)
  • And, last but not least, Amanda Steever’s project, Baby Brains, playing fuzzy and eclectic vibes

Sound good to you? There’s an $8 cover, and the show starts at 7 p.m.
