It takes a whole lot of guts to go from a one-night-only wedding band to play the Beatles as a bluegrass ensemble to a group that utilizes three-part harmonies and influences ranging from the Fab Four to Appalachian folk. Guts is something that The Lonely Heartstrings Band has in absolute spades. Since that rather incredible inception, they’ve been garnering rave reviews from everyone from an associate professor of music at Berklee College to other musicians.
Tonight, the night of October 7, they’ll be performing at The Millworks. They pay equal attention to musical talent and showmanship, which makes for one heck of a live show. Check it:
Interested? The show starts at 9:30 p.m. – and it’s free.
