Sunday A.M. Radio: Arcade Fire drummer chills out

While ambient music is too relaxed to ever really be described as #fire, Jeremy Gara, drummer for eternal indie darlings Arcade Fire, released an album of sonic soundscapes that can at least be tagged as #chill. Check out some tracks from Gara’s ambient album called “Limn” – an obscure word meaning “to describe in painting or words.”

The music is very atmospheric and uses sound to add touches of color rather than any distinct melody. Interestingly, hearing colors is part of a strange phenomena called synesthesia.
