St. Boniface turns five on Saturday

Do you know what the traditional gift for a fifth anniversary is? It’s wood. Yeah, wood. Not that cool. “Happy anniversary honey! Here’s your block of wood.” You know what would make a better anniversary gift? Beer. Beer is like the total opposite of wood. St. Boniface knows. They take their name from a saint famous for chopping down a tree. Take that, wood! The Ephrata-based brewery celebrates five years of serving up excellent brews like Hegemony stout, Paideia pale ale and Libation DIPA this Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Congratulations, guys!

The event features the unveiling of their Hegemony Anniver5ary Reserve on draft, in bottles and in a few firkins. Plus, food from Rocky’s BBQ and music by Clinton Hibshman. Take note wood. That’s how you celebrate an anniversary.

The big day is almost here! This Saturday will be packed with amazing things. We will be unveiling our 5th anniversary…
