If you’re just now dipping a figurative toe into the pool of craft beer, let us first say, “Welcome.” We applaud your decision and dedication to drink outside the box.
That said, we also should warn you that the aforementioned “pool” of craft beer has, in recent years especially, morphed into a vast sea as new microbreweries continue to open across the country. This isn’t a bad thing, though. With expansion comes the opportunity for experimentation, something the craft industry has embraced as new flavor combinations and styles have made “malted beverages” (as the PLCB lovingly refers to them) more interesting than their basic ale and lager roots.
So where do you start this new journey? That’s the fun part – you have to try ’em to know if you like ’em. And tonight, there are ample opportunities to sip and sample your way through a formidable swath of some of the industry’s best brewers and get your craft journey off to a good start.
