Single File is the place for punks this weekend

Since its debut on the scene earlier this year, Single File has quickly established itself as go to venue for independent bands in the area. After a severe mishap in April that saw the bathroom completely trashed, the venue has bounced back considerably. This weekend, local punk is getting a shine with two back-to-back shows featuring some of the best of what the scene has to offer.

On Saturday, June 18, local favorites Metalwulf, War Orphans, Chumps and The Wrath of Typhon will be bringing raucous guitars and pummeling blast beats for all to hear. Tickets are a $5-$10 donation at the door and the show begins at 6 p.m. The very next day, Single File promises “D-BEAT CRUSHER HARDCORE DEVASTATION,” according to the Facebook event page. Headlined by Philadelphia’s Nightfall, the show will also feature Dronez and local punks Bitter Taste. Just like Saturday, the show begins at 6 p.m., and tickets are a sliding scale of $5-$10.
