Regional brews will shine at the inaugural Zembo Spring Fever Brewfest

The Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg will host its first-ever Spring Fever Brewfest on Saturday.

For the last 68 years, the Zembo Shrine Center in Harrisburg has typically been the talk of the region in March due to its annual circus. But this weekend, the organization dips its toe into a whole new world of popular events as it gears up to host its first-ever Spring Fever Brewfest on Saturday.

Different than many of the brewfests that occur in the area, Spring Fever will almost exclusively be showcasing beers and ciders from Central PA’s brewing scene (with a few delicious exceptions). According to the event’s Facebook page, the roster of participating breweries includes:

Aldus Brewing Company
Appalachian Brewing Company
Crystal Ball Brewing Company
Evil Genius Brewing Company
Full Tilt Brewing Company
Lancaster Brewing Company
Old Forge Brewing Company
Snitz Creek Brewery
South County Brewing Company
Spring House Brewing Company
Tröegs Brewing Company
Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey
Wacker Brewing Company
Wyndridge Farm

The single-session beer festival runs from 3-7pm, although a VIP ticket will get you in the door at 2pm for a head start. Live music and a food buffet are also included with admission, which is $35 in advance/$40 at the door for general admission; $50 in advance/$55 at the door for VIP; and $10 for designated drivers.

And don’t worry – the Zembo Circus is still on for March 18-22…
