Potty Mouth makes a pit stop at H*MAC

Contrary to what might be expected from a band named Potty Mouth, we totally approve of everything that comes out of their mouths (and amps). The Northhampton, MA-based pop-rock trio continues their international tour with a stop at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center in an opening slot for the Screaming Females on November 1 at 9 p.m. Potty Mouth – featuring Abby Weems on guitar, Ally Einbinder on bass and Victoria Mandanas behind the drum kit – offers up an all-killer, no-filler set of ’90s-inspired guitar-and-hook heavy songs. Potty Mouth’s self-titled five-song EP – produced by John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Blonde Redhead, Bikini Kill) – was released on Planet Whatever Records in August. Check out the video for their infectious single “Cherry Picking,” (shout out to that Wild at Heart poster on the wall) and get tickets here.

Potty Mouth has to be added to any list of great female guitar-rock bands. Who are some of your favorite all-girl rock groups?
