Pappy K's in Mechanicsburg to become Blarney's & Whiskey Ridge

What do Buck Wild’s Rode House, the West Shore Hardware Bar and Legend’s Sports Bar all have in common? They are all concepts that have once called 5401 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg home. And while Pappy K’s Alehouse is the current tenant, we just learned that ol’ Pappy’s days are officially numbered.

Restaurateur Ron Kamionka – the man behind the Downtown After Dark bar and club empire in Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre and Bloomsburg – confirmed today that in the coming weeks, the short-lived Pappy K’s concept will be replaced by not one, but two new identities.

Blarney’s Twisted Irish Pub will occupy the inside portion, featuring what Kamionka describe as sarcastic and sassy service. The deck and live music venue will reemerge as Whiskey Ridge Saloon. Details are scant at this time, but given the Irish- and whiskey-tinged names, we can only imagine that both Blarney’s and Whiskey Ridge will offer plenty o’ brown liquor and a good bit of craic.

Stay tuned for more info…
