You may recognize Jana Kramer as the character Alex Dupre from the television show One Tree Hill, or maybe that brief stint she played on HBO’s Entourage as that girl we all thought was way too attractive for Turtle. But the countrified singer-songwriter is further making a name for herself on the merits of her, well, singing and songwriting. And if you haven’t yet heard Kramer’s 2012-released breakout single “Why Ya Wanna?” or recent hit “I Got The Boy,” you can on July 11; Kramer was recently announced as the final addition to the inaugural Live on Vine music block party in downtown Lancaster, supporting fellow country starlets Sara Evans, Ruthie Collins and Maggie Rose as well as regional acts Birdwatcher, Slimfit and the Corty Byron Band.
The event will take over the first block of West Vine Street, utilizing the parking lot and loading dock for the former LNP production building. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, food trucks and local vendors are also available during the six-hour event, which will run from 5-11 p.m. Advance tickets are $15, with a $20 admission charged at the gate.
