Monday 3 on 3: Pasta Making, Yoga, and Chris Emkey

Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Monday, June 8.

1) Caputo Brothers Orechiette Pasta-Making Class (Spring Grove)

Booze and carbs are an excellent combination. Booze and learning – not so much… unless it’s learning about carbs. Bring your own bottle to the Caputo Bros. at 6:30 p.m. to learn how to hand-roll some old-fashioned orechiette pasta. You will then eat that pasta. You’ll leave Caputo Bros. with another cool skill to talk about at parties and the recipes for the pasta. This class is $55 and runs for 2 hours; advance registration is required, which you can do right here.

2) Yoga at Zoetropolis (Lancaster)

Hit up Zoetropolis (315 W. James Street) at 5:15 p.m. for some yoga! Participation is donation-based, and the suggested donation is $5. Get your zen on.

3) Chris Emkey at Carley’s Ristorante and Piano Bar (Harrisburg)

If you’re up for some decent happy hour specials, good food, and great music, head over to Carley’s Ristorante and Piano Bar this evening. Chris Emkey will be playing live (check him out below). Bottles of wine are half price with an entrée all night. From 5 – 7 p.m., appetizers, pizzas, and the bar menus are half price. Check it out!

Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
