Make it a double: Two wineries to visit ASAP

In honor of Fly After 5 becoming a bi-monthly publication, we’re here to bring you twice the Lancaster County fun. That means twice the music, twice the food and twice the arts and culture. Be on the lookout for our first two issues Sept. 1 and Sept. 15.

‘Tis the season to drink outside without sweating your parts off! And what better way to drink outside than by visiting local wineries?

While you have your pick from a few fantastic wineries, here are the two we recommend you visit right this second.

Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery

Located in Manheim, this beauty has the land and the tasting room of your dreams. They often have events, but you can simply stop by and pair wines with cheese and chocolate, too.

Nissley Vineyards

A huge plot in Bainbridge is home to Nissley, where you’ll often find live music and events. You’ll see the grape vines as you approach the winery – you can’t miss it.

What a great evening for big band music!
