Make it a double: Two questions answered via Ask Fly

In honor of Fly After 5 becoming a bi-monthly publication, we’re here to bring you twice the Lancaster County fun. That means twice the music, twice the food and twice the arts and culture. Be on the lookout for our first two issues Sept. 1 and Sept. 15.

There’s always something more to learn in Lancaster County – whether it’s about shows coming to the area, which restaurants are doing what or how to make a drink at home. That’s where Ask Fly comes in. We’re here to answer your random questions big and small about the goings on in our dear Lanc.

Which questions might you ask? Here are some examples.

Q: How would you make a spaghetti taco?

A: I’d recommend going full on spaghetti fixings in a taco shell (I’m thinking hard shell), with some mixed Cheddar on top. Of course, you could go the Parmesan route, but I think the mixed Cheddar ties in the Mex-Italy flavor better. Also, check out the spaghetti pizza at My Place. Delicious. – Blayne Waterloo

Q: Where’s the best place to buy records without paying a ton?

A: You have a few options in downtown Lancaster that won’t break the bank. Try Stan’s Records on Prince Street – it can get a little pricey if you’re looking for a bargain, but you can’t beat the variety. I frequent Mr. Suit Records on Chestnut. You’ll always find something you like in their 50-cent bins, and new records are always coming in. Head to Instagram @mrsuitrecords to see the latest. – Kevin Stairiker
