Make it a double: Two Lancaster duos to see.

In honor of Fly After 5 becoming a bi-monthly publication, we’re here to bring you twice the Lancaster County fun. That means twice the music, twice the food and twice the arts and culture. Be on the lookout for our first two issues Sept. 1 and Sept. 15.

Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock knew what they were talking about when they rapped that “it takes two to make a thing go right.” Over the years, we’ve gotten a chance to talk to some legendary duos from Aaron Freeman of Ween, the cult rock band that operated as the duo of Gene and Dean Ween for years, to Joey Ryan of the the acoustic duo The Milk Carton Kids. But, there are some pretty amazing duos that regularly play in Lancaster. Check out these two duos.

The not-to-miss DJ duo Aortic Valve (masters of the silent disco) combine trippy visuals and danceable beats during Final Fridaze at Tellus360. The next party is coming up on Aug. 26 at 10 p.m.

Solid harmony, acoustic guitar, a cover of ” The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song, a stylophone, c’mon what’s not to love? The Lancaster-based duo Ben and Joe do all of that and more. Read our story on the two Lancaster lads here and find upcoming shows on their Facebook page.
