Make it a double: Two dog-friendly places to bring your buddy

In honor of Fly After 5 becoming a bi-monthly publication, we’re here to bring you twice the Lancaster County fun. That means twice the music, twice the food and twice the arts and culture. Be on the lookout for our first two issues Sept. 1 and Sept. 15.

We all wish we could take our dogs with us everywhere, whether they join us on their least, in the car, a stroller or a Baby Bjorn.

Luckily for us, Lancaster has several dog-friendly spots where you can enjoy being a human while your fur baby enjoys thinking they’re human, too.

Bulls Head Public House in Lititz

They’ve got all the beer and all the British food. And with ample outdoor seating, they’ve got plenty of room for your dog.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream on Columbia Avenue

You know you love to share your treats with your best friend, but wish they had a treat of their own. Bruster’s will give you a small dish of vanilla with a dog treat on top when you visit. Because your boo boo deserves nice things.
