This Saturday, a parade of bad Santas are getting wild for a good cause in the streets of downtown Lancaster. Help spread the cheer by dressing up as Santa (or an elf, a reindeer, Krampus or any other holiday character you can think of) and hand out gag gifts to everyone you meet.
The Lancaster Santa Stumble , which benefits the Lancaster City Mounted Police and K9 units, takes place from 4 p.m.-12 a.m. Check-in is at 4 p.m. at Tellus360 (the event’s HQ) and the bar tour features more than a dozen downtown bars including Annie Bailey’s, Marion Court, Federal Taphouse, Yorgos, Belevdere and more, some of which are offering drink specials and hosting live music. A costume contest takes place at Tellus360 at 8 p.m. and a group photo is going down at 9 p.m. in Binns Park. There’s a range of donation options, but for $30 you can get a VIP pass, which includes a scarf and special Santa Stumble button. Purchase tickets here.
Everyone loves drunk Santa…just make sure you don’t get overly cheerful like the jolly old guy in this video. And if you do celebrate too hard The Hotel Lancaster offers rooms for $109 with a $10 donation to the Mounted Police. Also, Jack Daniels has an Uber code that will get you $5 off a ride. Don’t get behind your sleigh if you’ve had too many eggnog shots.
