King Street Seisiun postponed to Summer

Bad news, y’all: due to some unfortunate weather forecasting, the annual King Street Seisiun has been moved to the greener pastures of summertime. But don’t forlornly lower your shillelagh just yet: twin hosts Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360 plan on holding a smaller version of the festivities indoors. The free “Sunday Funday” activities will replace the Seisiun, but organizers plan on also holding the summer version. Refunds for tickets and donations are available.

All of the previously announced Irish delicacies, including Irish stew and bangers and mash, can still be yours for the eating. Also, all of the bands, including Andy Mowatt’s Steely Jam playing the music of Van Morrison, will be playing at their previously announced times. And yes, all the beer you can drink (and beyond) will be available for the sipping. Annie Bailey’s will open at 9 a.m. and Tellus will open at 11 a.m. So don’t get sad just yet, lads and lasses, St. Patty’s Day weekend is only just beginning.

What will you drink too much of this weekend? Tell us in the comments.
