Killers and Quarters: Hanover's Timeline Arcade hosts a horror fest

What’s the scariest day you can think of? Friday the 13th? October 31st? Any random Monday? Try August 1st.

Today Timeline Arcade in Hanover hosts the Arcade Horror Fest starting at 2 p.m. The festival features appearances by Ari Lehman, the actor who played the child Jason Voorhees in the original Friday the 13th, as well as actors from the AMC series The Walking Dead. Horror fans can also get a zombie makeover for $20, shop for horror memorabilia including t-shirts and original event posters by Baltimore-based comic artist Nick DiFabbio, enjoy food from the Hanover Hub and play more than 160 classic arcade and pinball games.

What do these things have in common? This Saturday you will be able to meet actors from the shows! Only at the Arcade…

A limited number of tickets are available for $35 at Timeline Arcade or over the phone at (717) 634-2600. Unlike Jason’s unfortunate victims, it’s not “game over” for horror fans playing Gauntlet or classic pinball games at Timeline Arcade. They can get a brand new life – for a quarter.

Watch Ari Lehman talk about the ending to Friday the 13th and getting busted on by Kevin Bacon.

What are your favorite horror movies or scary arcade games?
