As the song goes, “he gives us what we need, it may not be what we want.” After locking down the first quarter of the year, Kanye West will seemingly be delivering on his promise of multiple albums this year with the release this morning of the first posse cut from the upcoming “Cruel Winter.” Back in 2012, Kanye and the rest of his G.O.O.D Music team released “Cruel Summer,” an anthology of sorts that featured banger after banger after banger. This morning, on Los Angeles’ Real 92.3, West dropped by to drop the first single of the compilation. The song is technically still-untitled, but the internet has already started calling it “Round and Round/Champions.” It’s a posse cut in the truest meaning of the phrase, including bars from G.O.O.D. music compatriots 2 Chains, Travi$ Scott, Desiigner and Big Sean, as well as Quavo, Yo Gotti and the recently free Gucci Mane. Presumably, an official release is forthcoming but until then, check out the radio rip below.
