Julie Fowlis sings at the Ware Center

Julie Fowlis’s voice might be familiar, but not necessarily for the reasons you might think. Sure, if you’re really into the Celtic music scene, you may recognize her as one of the voices from Dòchas, a Scottish all-female group. However, if you watched the Disney movie “Brave,” you know Fowlis’s voice. That’s right – Julie Fowlis sang “Touch the Sky,” “Brave”‘s popular theme song (as well as the song featured in the trailer, “Tha Mo Ghaol Air Àird A’ Chuain,” and “Into the Open Air”).
