You know you’re really hardcore when you’ve spent a decade and a half on the road to more fully commit yourself to the music, man.
The band Jucifer is a perpetual music machine – they’re literally always on tour. As in, they have lived in their tour bus since moving into it fifteen years ago, meaning a total of 2/3 of their 22 year career has been spent living on the road. As in they visit around 20-plus countries a year to bring their home-brewed version of deathgrind to the world at large and that doesn’t leave any time for setting up a nest at home (or establishing a non-mobile home, for that matter). Tonight, October 1, they’re playing on the Herr Street Stage at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, with no signs of slowing down. PA-based band Anthrophobia will be backing them up. Check Jucifer out:
If you’re interested in getting your double dose of all things earsplitting and facemelting, the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.
