Black Friday's coming. You need a beer (or five).

Braving the Black Friday insanity this year? Whether you’re fortifying your mental defenses to fight the crowds or looking for some respite from the madness, here are a few events to help you make it through.

Black Friday Stout Invasion

Hunger-N-Thirst in Lancaster celebrates Black Friday by rolling out an impressive list of “black as night” dark beers starting at 11 a.m. We recommend having a few porters before you head out to Park City and battle it out for that $5 big screen TV. You may have a shopping list for Black Friday, but let’s face it, this is the only list you really need to care about:

The Great American Black Friday Sale

Why not get your Black Friday shopping in while you relax? You can do just that at The Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey in Middletown. The third annual Great American Black Friday Sale takes place from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. The first 25 customers that make donations to the annual Toys for Tots drive will receives couples season passes to the 2016 Decked Out Live series. Guests can also enjoy big discounts on Vineyard & Brewery products, as well as complimentary mimosas and gourmet flatbreads. Also, the winery side will debut Naughty – it’s spiced red holiday wine, while the brewery will debut it’s new holiday ale – Naughty & Spiced. The Brewery also celebrates the release of its first-ever bottled product: Mean Cup o’Stout – a bourbon barrel-aged coffee stout perfect for the holidays.

 

 

More Black Friday beer events:

Al’s of Hampden in Enola is tapping a 1/6 keg of Bourbon County Brand Stout at 11 a.m. on Black Friday. Apparently no bottles are available. Start the stampede!

 

If you are looking for a bottle of Bourbon County Brand Stout, head over to The Friendly Greek in Lancaster. 40+ bottles will be released (one per customer) at 11 a.m.

 

Something Wicked Brewing Company in Hanover goes dark on Black Friday with two new nitro taps of Penance Porter and Kyoto cold brewed coffee and Afraid of the Dark Black IPA. Get a free beer with an unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.

Just a reminder to all, spread the word.. we are OPEN tomorrow from 5 to 11, and opening on Friday at 11 AM. Friday will be free beer Friday if you bring in a new unwrapped toy for toys for tots!!
