Harrisburg Beer Week: Finding #HBGBeerWeek's best-kept secrets

The following is a guest post written by Harrisburg nightlife ambassador and Harrisburg Beer Week co-producer Sara Bozich. After last week’s post from Tierney Pomone on some of the rare and limited-release brews coming to #HBGBeerWeek, we asked Sara to comb through the event’s calendar and pass along info on some of the more under-the-radar beer events happening next week. Here are Sara’s handpicked recommendations for Harrisburg Beer Week, which goes down April 24-May 2 in and around the Capital region.

You already know about the (717) Collaboration AlePA FlavorThe Battle of the Homebrew Clubs, the PA Women in Beer Conference and even the Little Big Beer Fest. These are all solid ways to cap your Harrisburg Beer Week weekends, but what about the middle of the week?

The Harrisburg Beer Week team recommends grabbing an event guide (or, better yet, signing up for our email list so you can get a daily list of EVERY event going on each day of #HBGBeerWeek), and making a plan. As a veteran nightlife writer, here are my off-the-path picks for Harrisburg Beer Week.
