Grain + Verse Bottlehouse to bring craft beer and pizza to New Cumberland

Last night, social media profiles were launched for Grain + Verse Bottlehouse. I first noticed the Instagram page – its feed showcasing an array of close-framed interior shots, blurred out refrigerators labeled “Bottles” overhead and, most noticeably, some pretty darn tasty-looking food. The profile page lists a link to a website – www.grainandverse.com – but that site has not yet launched. A Twitter profile also exists.

Coming soon. #featuredpizza #featuredbeer #featuredboli #craftpizza

Further sleuthing led me to Facebook. There, a Grain + Verse page appears to have been established on January 22, but with no activity until … today. This morning, a photo depicting what, again, looks to be a delicious pizza from a family and friends party last evening (likely the cause of last night’s Instagram photos) was posted:

The address listed on the Facebook page is 148 Sheraton Dr. in New Cumberland, which is the same address as The Garlic Poet. Things are getting interesting.

I have a call in to chef Kurt Wewer, and will update this story as further details are confirmed. In the meantime, I think it’s sufficient to say that the West Shore is on the verge of seeing a slick new craft beer bottle shop and craft pizza joint in the not-so-distant future.
