Golden Ages Tattoo hosts Flash Day

If there’s a combination that goes better than good ink for a good cause, we can’t think of it.

Golden Ages Tattoo on Walnut Street in Lancaster is celebrating their 2nd anniversary on Saturday, June 11. Beginning at noon, they’ll have a tattoo flash sale – if you’re not familiar with the concept, here’s the deal: Prospective customers enter and select a design from one of the flash sheets, full of pre-made designs by the studio artists. They’re then added to a list and told what their estimated time is, or what number in line they are. Wait time depends greatly upon how many attendees there are, and when you get there. Expect a wait, as the designs a.) are rad and b.) start at $40. Best of all – a portion of the proceeds from these tattoos will go to the Lancaster Pet Pantry, a great organization that not only operates a shelter for surrendered pets, but also offers a food program and discounted medical care to folks who might otherwise have to give up their pets. Now, that’s a cause to get excited about.

Check these flash sheet sneak peeks from Golden Ages! If you like what you see but don’t see anything you just have to have, don’t worry: these aren’t the entire sheet. You can always check the entire selection out on Saturday.
