Gloria Steinem to speak at Lancaster Domestic Violence event

Gloria Steinem has been a voice for women’s rights for half a century now. Her work is nearly unparalleled in that field, from the pioneering Ms. Magazine in the early ’70s right up to her current show “Woman” on Viceland, which showcases the struggles and tribulations of women the world over. Now, you can have a chance to see her speak in Lancaster.

It was announced yesterday that Steinem will be in town to speak at the annual Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence conference which takes place Nov. 2-4 at the Lancaster Marriott Hotel. Steinem will be speaking on the 3rd, and the conference will be releasing 100 tickets for people who just want to see her speak. Tickets will be $50 for the presentation and lunch.
