Girlpool to headline Lancaster Pride Festival

Philly favorites Girlpool haven’t been around for long, but they’ve made a big impact since their debut in 2014.

Their first full-length record, “Before the World Was Big,” came out last year and garnered high praise from the likes of Pitchfork and The New York Times. They’ll be making their Lancaster debut at this year’s Lancaster Pride Festival at Binn’s Park on June 19, thanks to Animal House Productions. Also on the bill are Fly-favorites Kate Faust and The Ok-Oks. The festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. and feature a drag show and promised “special guest appearances” along with the music.

Kevin Stairiker is a features writer for Fly. He is a graduate of Temple University and enjoys writing in third person. When he isn't writing, he's probably playing guitar for a litany of bands, reading comics or providing well-needed muscle at The Double Deuce.
