Get scared to death at the Lancaster Story Slam

Halloween’s in the air, and it’s creeping into Tellus360 tonight, October 27.

Most people have a story about that one time they nearly jumped out of their skins… and absolutely everyone loves hearing about other people getting, well, scared to death. The Lancaster Story Slam’s theme tonight is just that – “Scared to Death” – and Lancaster’s best storytellers are gathering ’round to tell the tale of that time they almost died of fright.

Obviously this entry falls under a different theme – but here’s Matt Kabik from another Lancaster Story Slam event earlier this year giving a stellar example of what an entry in a story slam looks like:

From a 2013 West Chester story slam, Bill Kilpatrick gives you an example of stories you might listen to tonight:

Tickets are $8 at the door, and the stories start at 8 p.m. If you have a story you’re just dying to share, show up a little early for registration. Now’s your last chance to spill your guts for 2015 – the final event of the year, the Grand Slam in November, will only be open to winners of the previous ten story slams… so come prepared.
