Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Friday, June 19.
1) Music Friday (Lancaster)
Grab some food or beer (or both) and enjoy the dulcet tones of Central PA bands and musical artists this evening. Adam Blessing, Adam Rast, Meg & the Right Sounds – there are so many bands slinging so many awesome tunes around the downtown Lancaster area this evening. Whether you’re near Steinman Park at the Fly stage, in Tellus360, by Binns Park, or by the Chameleon Club, you’ll be able to catch an earful of virtually any kind of music you could possibly want.
2) Comedy Night With the T.M.I. Comedy Troupe at the Midtown Scholar (Harrisburg)
This week seems like it dragged on forever (and ever, and ever, and… well, you know.) If you’re eager to shake off the workweek blahs before Saturday fun starts, there’s nothing like a little laughter. Catch tonight’s Comedy Night with the T.M.I. Comedy Troupe at the Midtown Scholar. The show runs from 7 – 8 p.m., and it’s sure to be a side-splitter.
3) Third in the Burg (Harrisburg)
Check the Third in the Burg this evening. There’s a ton going on – our picks are here – but, really, just walk around in downtown Harrisburg and you’ll find something to do. PechaKucha? Check. Really awesome coffee? Check. Food trucks? Check. Incredible gallery expositions on 2nd and 3rd street (seriously, everyone from the MakeSpace to the LGBT Center to the 3rd Street Studio and beyond is exhibiting a show)? Double check. If you’re in the Harrisburg area, downtown is where you want to be tonight.
Want more? You don’t have to wait ’til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
