Free (silent) grooves from Aortic Valve await at Tellus360 tonight

Aortic Valve, the DJ and visual artist duo of DJ Rich Johnson and Justin Ayala, respectively, have been hosting silent discos at Tellus360 for almost a year now.

If the title didn’t tell you enough, a silent disco involves a DJ pumping music wirelessly into headphones worn by everyone dancing. Generally, these events will run you $5, but presuming the weather holds out, tonight the silent disco will be free and on the roof of Tellus360.

If it does end up raining, expect the event to be moved inside. Either way, music will (silently) begin at 8 p.m. tonight. Check out the videos below to get a good idea of what the experience entails, and check Aortic Valve’s Facebook page for more information on what they do and how they do it.
