What’s better than telling jokes around a table? Watching improv comedy. What’s better than watching improv comedy? Learning how to do it yourself. Especially when you can do that by learning from the pros, for free.
Tonight at the Harrisburg Improv Theatre, it’s “Free Friday.” That means that all the events happening over there this evening conveniently cost exactly zero dollars. Tonight, among other things, they’re hosting two free workshops. One is perfect for the less vengeful garden gnomes in your life – it’s Kidprov, aimed at small humans who you hope will someday grow up to be funny, taller humans. That starts at 6 p.m.
If you don’t have kids and can’t borrow a friend’s or relative’s children, don’t worry! You, too, can learn how to be funny! At 7 p.m., you can attend a free adult class/workshop to hone your improv skills.
That’s not all, though – there’s an improv jam and a Power Trio performance, too. Events run from 6-10 p.m. For the night’s full schedule, mosey over here.
