Jon Gosselin – now DJ Jon Gosselin – is currently waiting for his new (“Well, refurbished – they aren’t new”) techs to come via Fed-Ex.
“My kids are like, ‘Where can we go today?’ And I’m like, ‘We can’t go anywhere until these techs get here,'” Gosselin jokes on the phone with Fly. “Because you don’t want them to sit out in the rain.”
It’ll be Gosselin minus Kate and their eight taking requests on New Year’s Eve Eve at Chameleon Club. But tonight, he’s at at Fox and Hound at King of Prussia. Thursday he’s got a wedding, and he’ll return to Building 24 on Friday, where he’s the house DJ each week.
He says he doesn’t have any pre-recorded set lists because “I never know what I’m playing.”
“It could be Top 40, it could be classic rock, it could be anything. It all depends on what the crowd wants,” Gosselin says.
“I’ve been trying to get to the Chameleon Club,” he says. “A lot of my friends play at [Tellus360]. And what’s that new place right next to it? I haven’t played at [Altana Rooftop Bar and Lounge] yet.”
Why the interest in downtown Lancaster?
“My kids go to Lancaster Country Day” he says. “So I’m always in Lancaster.”
DJJG hopes to become a scratching DJ in the future, because “I’ve only been a DJ around a year.”
Gosselin will have the place bumping with DJ Innck at 9 p.m. December 30 to a strictly 21 and over crowd.
“I’m really excited. It’s going to be a great party, a great time,” he says. “Music’s amazing because it’s a common bond.”
Feeling like partying before the party or you just really like to have a good time all the time, come on out December 30th to the Chameleon Club in the Lizard Lounge!!!! Lancaster, PA
