31 Days of Decks in Central PA
There’s a witty boomerang analogy hidden somewhere in the storyline for customers who’ve dined at 110 Limekiln Road in the past. The story arc (that’s a pun) probably goes something along the lines of you were there many, many years ago to dine at Doc Holliday’s Steakhouse, have been hanging in limbo since it closed, and now are returning to check out the newly established Boomerang Bar & Grill.
All terrible metaphor attempts aside, you really should get on over to Boomerang if you haven’t yet. More than just a couple coats of paint and a new name and signage, its a fully-imagined use of the space that’s long been attached to the Harrisburg Comedy Zone. The menu runs the gamut from ol’ standbys like burgers and salads to larger entrees like steak and catch-of-the-day specials.
Best of all, the Boomerang deck was recently unveiled in all its casual glory. The completely uncovered patio and courtyard accommodates 80 with seating for 60 at umbrella-clad tables. Live music is featured regularly on Thursday nights, but you can catch a special performance from Shea Quinn tonight from 7-10 p.m.. Jason Carst hits the deck tomorrow from 5-8 p.m.
